The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) has pointed to the “reforms” which the regime is trying to preform
after the bloody events which been have taken place in Syria in the past few days.

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-People’s Assembly on Monday underlined the importance of the national unity Syria enjoys, which clearly occurred during the latest events, pointing out to the families’ solidarity and standing by the government to hunt “the troublemakers” in a number of cities.
During a session led by Speaker Mahmoud al-Abrash, the Syrian MPs were confident of Syria’s capability of facing the “challenges and conspiracies” to which it is exposed to.
They hailed the latest decrees issued by President Bashar al-Assad to “improve living conditions, combat corruption, lift emergency law and expand participation in the political life”.
Later, the Assembly discussed a number of issues and ratified several agreements.
